Our ingredients have been shown to be both safe and effective.

Adverse effects have been reported from excessive consumption or high dosages of yohimbine extract that has been isolated and concentrated from its natural form, NOT from consuming yohimbe bark in its natural form. Yohimbe bark is a specific ingredient in EDGE.

Those with chronic high blood pressure or those who take monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) medication may be sensitive to certain foods as well as yohimbe. If you are sensitive to the following list of foods or if you’ve been told to avoid these foods, you may also be sensitive to TriSystem EDGE.

In any case this list of  tyramine-containing foods should be consumed in moderation and even avoided for those who are sensitive or who have high blood pressure while taking EDGE:

  • Cheeses, including American, Bleu, Boursault, Brick, Brie, Camembert, Cheddar, Emmenthaler, Gruyere, Mozzarella, Parmesan, Romano, Roquefort, Stilton, and Swiss;
  • sour cream and yogurt;
  • beef or chicken liver, fish, meats prepared with tenderizer, bologna, pepperoni, salami, summer sausage, game meat, meat extracts, caviar, dried fish, herring, shrimp paste, and tuna;
  • avocados, bananas, figs, raisins, and sauerkraut;
  • soy sauce, miso soup, bean curd, and fava beans;
  • yeast extracts;
  • ginseng;
  • chocolate;
  • caffeine (coffee, tea, cola, etc.); and
  • beer (alcoholic and nonalcoholic), red wine (especially Chianti), sherry, vermouth, and other distilled spirits.

TriSystem EDGE  contains a small amount of natural yohimbe bark NOT pharmaceutical yohimbine.  The dosage of yohimbe bark is safe and effective and the benefits outweigh the potential side effects that some people may experience.  Use the following dosage progression to be safe and get the best results!

Mild Dosage: Thirty minutes before your first workout, take 1 tablet  and DO NOT TAKE one after your workout.  Note how you felt as a result of taking this dosage.

Thirty minutes before your next workout, take 1 tablet and, if you feel good after the workout, repeat another tablet immediately after workout.  Note how you felt as a result of taking this dosage.

Moderate Dosage: Thirty minutes before your next workout, take only 2 tablets before and 1 immediately after workout, using only one packet total for both pre and post workout consumption.  Note how you felt as a result of taking this dosage.

Full Dosage: Thirty minutes before your next workout, take all 3 tablets for workout consumption.  Note how you felt as a result of taking this dosage.  Once all tablets are consumed, this concludes this test.

Continued usage of the product is to gradually increase dosages to 3 tablets before and 3 tablets after exercise.  All three tablets will give a full dosage of alkaloids that some may be sensitive to.  If you feel shaky after the first full dosage, do not take the post workout dosage.  Your body will desensitize with repeated dosages, and you can gradually increase the dosage up to the recommended 3 tablets before and 3 tablets after to get the full benefits of the product.  If you still feel “jittery” from the product, reduce your consumption again to just one tablet before and after.  Remember, your body will adapt and improve with consistent usage of this botanical combination.

Potential risks from taking any new supplement:

Although highly unlikely, the ingredients of this product may cause nervousness, shakiness, anxiety,  elevated pulse, irregular heartbeat, nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea and/or vomiting, dizziness, sleeplessness, tremors, nervousness, headache or heart palpitations in some people.
